This page describes how Dentaltourism's content is produced, verified, and maintained — the independence rules we follow, what we cover and explicitly do not cover, who reviews clinical content, and how we handle corrections.

01 Editorial Independence

Dentaltourism is editorially independent.

We do not collect commissions from clinics.
Clinics cannot pay for inclusion, favorable coverage, or ranking position.
Clinics cannot review or veto content prior to publication.
Any fixed cost-recovery fee, if introduced in the future, will be decoupled from ranking, content tone, and verification status.

Paid in-depth coverage — such as founder interviews, on-site visits, and doctor interviews — is planned for the future. Once launched, this editorial layer will follow the same independence standards: clinics will not be able to purchase favorable framing, and content will be produced as independent reporting.

Conflict of interest: the founder previously worked inside China's dental healthcare industry. Past employer relationships and any prior commercial ties to listed clinics are disclosed on the About page.

02 How We Compile Clinic Information

Clinic listings draw on Dentaltourism's industry experience together with publicly available information for clinic name, address, and contact details. Pricing, scheduling, clinical capability, treatment options, materials, and current credentialing should be verified directly with the clinic before any booking decision.

03 Our Position and Service Model

Dentaltourism is an independent third-party platform serving two audiences: international visitors planning a trip to China for dental treatment, and international expat residents already living in mainland China who need an English-speaking dentist locally. Our long-term aspiration is to become a trusted reference node — a layer that helps both groups connect with quality private dental healthcare institutions across the eighteen Chinese cities we currently cover. We use AI agents to assist in routing patient inquiries; you then confirm your treatment needs directly with the appointment team at the clinic of your choice. We do not collect any commission for these introductions.

A note from the founder: although I have stepped away from my industry roles in dentistry — strategy, M&A, and investor relations — I want to put the experience and understanding I built up over those years to constructive use, by introducing you to clinics that genuinely put clinical care ahead of commercial pressure.

What we provide: clinic information aggregation, city-level travel research for dental tourism, and treatment-category explanations.

What we do not provide:

Medical or dental advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations
Appointment confirmation or booking guarantees
Price guarantees
Clinical outcome guarantees
Provider certification or quality endorsement

All treatment decisions should be confirmed directly with the chosen clinic. Verify credentials, risks, alternatives, materials, and pricing in writing before proceeding.

04 Authors and Medical Review

Editorial content is written and curated by the founder of Dentaltourism. Founder background and credentials are on the About page.

Every clinical treatment guide on this site was reviewed by a licensed dentist or specialist. Each guide's Expert Review section at the foot of the page names the reviewing clinician and lists their credentials.

05 Corrections and Contact

We aim to correct material factual errors as soon as they are confirmed.
